Clearwater, BC – July 11, 2024 – The District of Clearwater is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Kimmel on a six-month contract to spearhead our Economic Development initiatives. Ms. Kimmel brings a wealth of experience and expertise in economic development for both rural and urban communities. Her focus will be on fostering relationships and partnerships that will benefit our community and local economy.
Ms. Kimmel has a proven track record in driving economic growth and development, and she prides herself on building strong relationships within the community and beyond. She is dedicated to understanding the unique needs of our community and is eager to engage with residents, business owners, and First Nations to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
During her tenure, Ms. Kimmel will:
· Engage with the Community: She will be reaching out to residents, First Nations, and the business community to gather insights and understand their needs and aspirations.
· Form Strategic Partnerships: Ms. Kimmel will work to build and strengthen partnerships that support economic development and community well-being.
· Deliver Excellent Service: Her commitment to providing top-notch service and support will be evident as she works to create and implement strategies that drive economic progress in Clearwater.
