Information Bulletin: Little Fort Complex JULY 20, 2017 (1100)

Summary: The Little Fort Complex wildfires continue to be active and out of control. While cooler weather and lower winds over the last two days allowed crews to make gains in containing Thuya Road and Dunn Lake fires, active hot spots still flare up during peak burning periods. For the safety of the public and crews, evacuation alerts and orders re-main in place. Contact the District of Clearwater/ TNRD for more information.
Total resources: 275 firefighting personnel, seven helicopters, 21 pieces of heavy equipment, structural protection units and air tankers, as needed.

Fire Size: 3,035 hectares (estimated)
Status: Out of Control, 30% contained
Progress + Objectives: Crew will continue to protect structures, enforce guard lines using heavy equipment and extinguish spot fires.
